Career learning raises aspirations and broadens horizons. Career learning motivates
and engages learners. The Certificate evidences that you inspire learners from early years to have dreams for their future and develop their knowledge and skills for adulthood and work.

The Certificate enables career professionals to recognise and reward a primary school’s initial career programme and supports its development.
The Certificate requires a school to achieve 10 basic criteria (see Criteria tab) and links to the six learning areas of the CDI.
Receive a Career Mark Primary Certificate to display to your community showing the school’s commitment to their learners’ futures in the world.
Criteria to be evidenced to achieve the Certificate
Part 1
The named career contact will provide evidence of the ten criteria to a Career Mark Primary Champion who will first review it and then arrange a 2hr online career conversation with relevant staff and learners.
Part 2
A two hour online conversation with a small sample of staff and learners about career related learning including;

The school will receive verified written feedback 10 working days after the online meeting including.
