Job Title: Career Development Practitioner
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: Competitive: £31,000 (FTE) for fully qualified practitioners with at least one year of post- qualification practice experience.
From September 2026, Complete Careers needs additional capacity across all areas of its services.
We are therefore advertising at least one full-time post, or various part-time posts, to meet this need. We are a flexible employer and encourage you to enquire about work patterns that work for you.
Contract Duration: Twelve-month contract initially.
Job Purpose
To provide careers advice and guidance services to learners in secondary education across Lincolnshire. To be organised and able to manage a caseload of local schools and academies. For the right candidate, there are opportunities to become involved in the full range of career development services we offer, as described on our website.
Personal Specification
• Experience of working with young people
• Ability to build a rapport with young people
• A natural, caring, and empowering attitude to support young people to recognise their potential
• A full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, and access to your own transport
• A minimum of a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification (consideration will be given to exceptional candidates currently engaged in training, or those qualified in careers to Level 4 and willing to upskill to Level 6)
• Already be, or be eligible to be, on the CDI professional register (or on the pathway towards it)
• Be up to date with current safeguarding and confidentiality practices for working with young people, including vulnerable learners
• Have the right to work in the UK
