Delivered to Enterprise Advisers
The aim of this session, delivered in person at a Hub networking event, was to give employers an understanding of modern approaches to careers development and to help them understand how to have impactful conversations with learners when they visit schools and colleges.
Delivered to Enterprise Co-ordinators
The aim of this session was to facilitate conversations with Enterprise Co-ordinators about the challenges of completing Compass assessments, and to empower them to make judgements around the Benchmarks.
As experts in assessing the quality of careers, our staff delivered training to support the Enterprise Co-ordinators to examine the intent, implementation, and impact of the careers programs of schools with whom they work.
Delivered to SLT within a Careers Hub
This face to face delivery as part of the “Rethink Apprenticeships” program was developed in response to research showing that Cambridgeshire and Peterborough have a lower uptake of technical and vocational education than the national average.
The aim of this CPD and Resources project was to educate the educators, providing subject teachers with a clear understanding of apprenticeships and technical education pathways to better support students.
Delivered to teachers within a Careers Hub
The aim of these sessions was to support with the preparation and reflection of staff undertaking their time with employers.
The sessions involved a guide to help teachers to identify as many details as they could from the workplace, and gave practical skills for bringing their developing awareness of the labour market into their classrooms.
These sessions were delivered via remote, twilight sessions, before and after teachers had their workplace visits.
Delivered to Careers Leaders within a Careers Hub
The aim of these three sessions, delivered remotely via twilight sessions, was to support Careers Leaders within a Hub to take positive action to expand their understanding of the Benchmarks.
To focus, not simply on Compass, but identifying ways of improving the impact of employer encounters and workplace experience.
The sessions aimed to support Careers Leaders to take steps to improve the engagement of academic staff and to audit this effectively.
Delivered to whole staff at school
The aim of this face to face session was to help academic staff to understand the value and importance of engaging with Careers, and to identify simple and practical ways to weave careers content into their lessons, trips and 1:1 conversations with learners.
