We are excited to promote our new, FREE resource for Primary schools to use with year 6 pupils. The document is available free of charge for all Complete Careers members. The resource aims to compliment and enhance career related delivery in your school.
The resource provides three sessions with the aim to help pupils to make good transitions to secondary school. It covers topics such as coping with change, decision making, occupational awareness, self awareness and action planning.
‘Transitions’ includes videos, visual hand outs and exercises including a ‘University and Apprenticeship Matching Exercise’, a ‘New School Quiz’ and ‘Mini Biographies’. We feel it provides an engaging and interesting way to deliver careers related learning with year 6 pupils.
The resource is in line with the CDI Frameworks learning objectives and is a great way to show case your career related learning curriculum when working towards the Career Mark Primary Award.
